Just thought I'd point you all at ratetheraters
which is a general discussion forum about rating communities.
Rejection can be sweet
I've just been asked to join tapitorslapit
. I'm tempted, on the basis that I'm probably a shoo-in ... for rejection.
Now, on the one hand, this would lessen my hypocrisy as Your Great Leader -- I'd have been rejected from somewhere, and I'd be able to lead the rejected armies gloriously into the light, where we would frolic and drink frobscottle and stuff (mostly stuff). On this basis, I should go for it.
On the other hand, I don't think I could bear the ignominy if I were accepted.
What should I do?
Answers on a postcard, please! Current Mood: confused
Welcome to l_j_rejected
I've had an ambition for some time to set up a members-only golf club whose sole entry requirement was rejection from another golf club.
This, metaphorically, is that golf club.
Tired of communities which seem to exist for no other purpose than rejecting people, I decided to set up the antidote.
To join l_j_rejected
, you must have been rejected by one other community. That is all.
Comment on this entry to provide proof of your rejection.
Let's see where this goes ....
